This is Cinders a very gorgeous grey cat that arrived at the GSPCA just before Christmas last year.

Although she looks very healthy sadly she is not and is in need of a second operation. Please support Cinders the cat at the GSPCA - here she is on the JKT BBC Guernsey show

Unfortunately Cinders has gum and teeth problems and even after having one dental she now requires all of her teeth removing.

Every day the GSPCA care for and help sick and injured animals and Cinders is just one of those that is in need of your support.

You can help by joining our ANGEL Sponsorship Scheme which is called Animals Needing Guernseys Everlasting Love and is a way to give monthly to help cats like Cinders and the other animals in our care.

Anna Carre Senior Animal Care Assistant said 'Cinders is beautiful but really needs this operation.'

'We have dozens of animals in every month that require treatments, tests and operations and the ANGEL Sponsorship Scheme is a way that you can help cats like Cinders have a brighter future.'

'We have lots of cats and other animals at the Shelter that have been through so much and we appreciate every penny donated to help care for them.'

At the Shelter we currently have over 40 cats like Cinders in need of care, treatment and homes as well as 200 other animals and birds in our care.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said 'Cinders is a lovely feline and in fact is a radio star after being on the BBC Guernsey JKT show today.'

'She is so sweet and we would love people to support her through this scheme.'

'What the Sponsors will get is a certificate of thanks, a plaque on our new Sponsorship board which is due next week, a quarterly Newsletter and annual membership of  the GSPCA as well as the peace of mind that you are then helping directly by your donation care for and rescue animals in Guernsey.'

'Saying this there are other ways people can support the GSPCA and you can find out many of these on our Fund raising, Volunteering, Corporate Days and Wish list page on our web site.'

'Our biggest wish is to build a new Cattery and Quarantine Building and you can find out more by going to the web page or popping into the Shelter for a leaflet.'

Finally if you wanted to help at this moment then you can donate by calling into the Shelter, over the phone by calling 01481 257261 or by clicking the Paypal button below.

Thank you for your support.
