Cuddly toys needed as prizes for our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday 15th May 2016

At the GSPCA we are normally appealing for homes for animals, but we are currently appealing for your unwanted soft toys.
It is that time of year that we are at many events and we are running low on cuddly toys which we use as prizes on some of our games to help raise funds for the Shelter.
If you have any unwanted soft toys then please pop them up to the Shelter or if you need a vehicle to pick up quite a few then please let us know and we can arrange collection.
On the 15th May we will be holding our fifth Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday and there is a huge amount planned.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "At the GSPCA we are always over run with animals and currently have over 350 in our care but we are currently after more, well the soft toy type anyway!"
"At the GSPCA we are appealing for soft toys to use as prizes for our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday which takes place on the 15th May."
"Also we are still after people to join in the Animal Mascot 5-a-side and any volunteers to help on the day."
"We are also in search of a large luton van to help move all of the equipment and goods for the day as this is looking to be another busy Seafront Sunday."

"We are also appealing for goods and furniture for our new on site charity shop."
"The money raised at our Seafront Sunday will help the thousands of animals we rescue and care for every year."
The winner will be chosen at random on the 15th May at our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.
We need to get at least another 12kg or more on her to be fit enough for the wild and we are hoping this competition will help raise the funds to get that final weight on her and help with the care that she has had at the GSPCA.
