On Wednesday 22nd November a team of staff from The Travel Corporation gave up a day in a dry warm office to help out at the GSPCA.

The team of 6 staff arrived at 9am where they received a short induction before helping around site with the 300 animals at the Shelter in St Andrews.

Richelle Swart, Amber Holt, Deanna Le Page, Lisa Goman, Wayne Ogier and Stacey Gallienne helped with everything from the domestic animals to the wildlife on site.

Before the group were set to work they met the Managers dog 'Toby' for a quick photo at the front of the Shelter and then doubled up with the GSPCA team to help care for and clean out the many animals.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "The team of staff from The Travel Corporation were a huge help and all seemed to really enjoy their day at the GSPCA."

"It is always very humbling at the end of the day like when The Travel Corporation staff help out and the feedback we receive as so many can't believe the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes at the Shelter."

"We always love to hear from businesses that would like to help or support us and you can call 257261 for more details, check out our website or email me on [email protected]."

"A huge thank you to the team from The Travel Corporation who really were a great help."

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Credit Suisse are fantastic and from all at the GSPCA we really have to thank them for all of their support this year."
"The staff from Credit Suisse last week helped with everything from deep cleaning the hedgehog unit to moving our ferret accommodation around."
"It wasn't all just animal related work as we had lots of equipment that needed moving and even an old fence needed to be taken down."
"At the end of each of the days we took the groups for a guided tour and presented them with a thank you certificate and newsletter."
"We love hearing from businesses that would like to help or support us in any way from volunteering to sponsoring an event or wish list item and please do give me a call if you would like to know more."
