The shortlisted finalists have been announced in this year’s Livingroom Customer Service Awards.
Following a six-week voting process, during which the general public was able to nominate the individual or team they felt deserved an accolade for outstanding customer service, the judging panel met earlier this week to decide top three nominees and a winner in each of the 10 categories. With over 5,000 nominations having been sent in this year, the judges had a real challenge, but following much debate agreed on those who, in their opinions, were most deserving to be named as finalists this year.

The shortlisted finalists have been announced in this year’s Livingroom Customer Service Awards.

Following a six-week voting process, during which the general public was able to nominate the individual or team they felt deserved an accolade for outstanding customer service, the judging panel met last week to decide top three nominees and a winner in each of the 10 categories.

With over 5,000 nominations having been sent this year, the judges had a real challenge, but following much debate they agreed on those who, in their opinions, were most deserving to be named as finalists this year.

The GSPCA are over joyed that one of our team Helen Holmes who both works and volunteers for the Shelter has been short listed for the Humble Volunteer.

Whether helping at fund raisers or on the front desk Helen is a fantastic representative for the GSPCA always polite, helpful, caring and goes the extra mile.

Helen Holmes said "I really can't believe it."

"It's wonderful to work and help the GSPCA and we care for so many animals."

"Thank you to those that nominated me and the judges, but I really didn't expect anything like this."

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We are all so proud of Helen to be a finalist, she truly is a wonderful representative for the GSPCA."

"She helps in all areas of the Shelter and at so many of our events."

"Helen has a passion for helping animals and caring for others and we'll have our fingers crossed for her on Thursday 3rd July."
