The GSPCA currently has an exciting position for a full time member of staff.

Although not leaving the Shelter completely a staff member is stepping down from his full time role which has opened a very diverse position at the GSPCA.GSPCA Animal Shelter in Guernsey baby hoglet / hedgehog

The closing date for the post is Friday 9th November 2012 and below are all of the forms required for applicants.  Application packs can also be collected from the GSPCA Animal Shelter reception desk.

This varied role entails primarily caring for the wildlife and other animals on site, but also the successful candidate would be required to help cover the reception desk and also the animal collection work when needed.  Therefore only applicants with full driving licences need apply as driving the Shelter vehicle is an essential part of the role.

You would be part of a team of 23 paid staff and over 100 volunteers so good interpersonal skills are important.  The Animal Shelter has an average 200 - 300 animals in our care at anytime and is a 24 hour 7 day a week operation.

The role also involves helping with our many fundraising events and with the increase of modern technology and software at the Shelter it is an advantage to have IT skills.

You would be part of the oldest and largest Animal Welfare organisation in Guernsey and we have been helping animals for more than 139 years.
