Last Friday and Saturday the GSPCA joined the South Show for a sunny and fun two days in St Martins.
The Friday proved very popular with many families enjoying the bouncy castles, games and of course the Bonnie Baby competition.
The Saturday also teamed with visitors and in the afternoon the GSPCA Manager helped run the fun dog show which had over 80 entries between the 8 fun classes and saw dogs of all sizes.

The show proved extremely popular in the Guernsey sunshine and lots of fun was had.
The dog that had traveled furthermost was Kerby the Westie who is originally from the US and there was a lot of effort put into many of the fancy dress outfits.
Prizes came from Vets 4 pets who were sponsoring the Dog Show, Creature Comforts, Active Dog, The Grooming Parlour and photo session vouchers from Liz Kerr.
The final event of the Fun Dog Show was Best in Show and every class had been difficult to judge.
The Best Looking Female Dog had been won by a Leonburger called Daisy. During the Most Handsome Dog class judge Steve Byrne asked for Daisy to come back into the show ring to help choose the best looking male which she did very well.
This gave her the edge in winning Best in Show and she was owned by Audria Ersmus who was over the moon with Daisy winning.
Reserve Best in Show went to Milo a Chihuahua who had been rescued from a gypsy camp in the UK with his mother and rehomed here in Guernsey by Animal in Need.
Over the two days Sheila, Yvonne, Kevin and Steve helped man and run the GSPCA stall where we raised £431.57 for the many animals at the GSPCA.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We had a wonderful two days at the South Show and the weather was fantastic."
"It was a privilege to judge the fun dog show and meet so many lovely dogs and wonderful owners."
"It wasn't easy judging each class and every owner there should be very proud as all the dogs were well behaved, friendly and could have all stole the show."
"The Best in Show went to Daisy a Leonburger who after winning the prettiest female dog came back into the ring to help decide which were the best looking male dogs and the Reserve Best in Show went to a lovely little rescue dog called Milo."
"Next Wednesday we help run another fun dog show, this time for the North Show and it takes place at 2pm so please do come down and see us there as well as many of the other upcoming events."
