Quack, quack,

What quacktastic weather we are all having.  So nice and sunny for this time of year. I hear the staff calling it an Indian Summer which is funny because I’m supposedly an Indian Running Duck!!!

Well I thought I ought to let you all know on Tuesday 4th October it is World Animal Day.  I just wondered if you would be doing anything nice for us animals?  Maybe you could pop by and make a donation or find out how you can help by clicking on this link www.gspca.org.gg/fundraising  .

Or maybe if you are younger you could draw and send a lovely picture of me or other animals in to the shelter to celebrate. If you are really clever email one through to me [email protected].  Look I have gone all clever myself and got myself an email address.

Well in this warm weather please, please think about your pets.  Don’t leave dogs in cars and keep an eye so cats don’t get trapped in your greenhouse.  In fact the staff wrote a short piece on what to do in this warm weather http://www.gspca.org.gg/blog/its-autumn-dogs-still-die-hot-cars

Now I have some quacking brilliant news on some friends that have been made all better today and are back in the wild.  Yvonne who works in the Hospital who made me better and a young man who is on work experience called Robin have just released some of my friends back to the wild.  It is so nice to see when this happens as without the kind people that found them and the GSPCA who knows what would have happened to them.  Well done to all!

Anyway I’ve been under this tree in the shade for a while keeping cool and it is time for a quick dip.

Quack to you later
