All next week during GSPCA Purple Week, a week to celebrate 140 years caring for animals in Guernsey the GSPCA will be holding an event at the Animal Shelter where we have been based since 1929.

Monday to Friday between 10am and 12pm the GSPCA will be holding a Coffee Morning and Bric-A-Brac sale at the Shelter in our event and training room.

Although we hold regular Coffee and Bric-A-Brac mornings every Tuesday during term time thanks to the Link staff and students we are extending this next week to help raise funds for the Shelter and also give supporters a chance to pop up and see some of the work we do with a picture show of our recent work.

The Bric-A-Brac mornings have been going extremely well and we are appealing for extra stock to fill the shelves and tables.  If you are having an early spring clean please think of the GSPCA and pop your items up to the Animal Shelter in St Andrews.

Helen Holmes GSPCA staff member said 'Between the Pop Up shop thanks to OSA Recruitment we had at Christmas and the Tuesday Bric-a-Brac sale and coffee morning we really need more stock and if anyone could help we would be very grateful.'

'We have a big projector and will have a picture show that we will play in the background so those having a coffee can see all the amazing work we do.'

'Also our latest newsletter will be out and on the coffee tables.'
