On Saturday at the St Pierre Park Hotel the Viva Las Vegas Ball was held in aid of the GSPCA and the Thomson Memorial Trust, two local Guernsey charities.

Organised by Corinne Connolly from Sidneys Sponsored Evetnts and her friends and sponsored by Hepburns Insurance the evening had a 1950's and 60's theme.

With wonderful entertainment from Vanessa James & Danceography (first dance), Brian “Elvis” Richards, Diane Piper Arabesque Dance Company & the two Showgirls who did a superb job welcoming everyone and setting the scene and atmosphere.  

Also music from local group Jomalia fabulous auction, a raffle with an amazing selection of prizes and of course the casino room which was from the Whole Nine Yards.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "What an amazing evening we all had on Saturday with well over 200 guests and entertainers at the Viba Las Vegas fund raiser for the GSPCA and Thomson Memorial Trust held by Sidneys Sponsored Events."

"Corinne Connlloy the main organisor for the event and her team did an amazing job on a wonderful evening and thank you to everyone involved, attended, entertained, served, donated or had anything to do with the Viva Las Vegas Ball."

"Corinne is already working on her next event which will be for the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People Guernsey Branch and the GSPCA which will be at Les Cotils on the 21st September."

The final totals are still to come in but from the GSPCA a huge thank you to all involved and the supported the wonderful event it was much appreciated.

Sunday Lunch at Les Cotils on 21st September 2014 at 12.30pm in the Harry Bound Room.   There is a 3 course meal and raffle.  Tables of up to 10 are welcome or join a table at £18.50 per person.
