This year we have had to split our flag day into three so we can collect in the many locations in Guernsey.
Earlier this year on the first of the three days we collected over £1200 at the two Waitrose stores and this Saturday we had another successful day collecting in many locations around our lovely island.
We do not yet have a final total (to be confirmed), but from all of the hundreds of animals at the GSPCA a huge thank you to one and all that helped collect and also to the many that donated from all corners of Guernsey.
From the GSPCA we would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone that helped collect and a special thanks to Sarah Ozanne who spent many hours preparing and organising the many wonderful volunteers and collection points.
On the 24th October we will hold our final part of our Flag Day at the Marks and Spencers stores around Guernsey and if you can help please do call 01481 257261 or email Sarah on [email protected]
The next major event we are looking for volunteers is our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday on the 13th September.
We are also at the North Show this week, we have guided tours each day and we have a stall at the Guernsey Marathon Seafront Sunday.
