Last Wednesday 8 volunteers from the Aon Insurance Managers (Guernsey) Limited (Aon) spent the day helping at the GSPCA Animal Shelter in Guernsey.
From the GSPCA and all of our team we would like to thank the Aon staff for all of their help.
The team arrived at 9am where they had a short induction with GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne before a quick picture in their lovely clean Aont-shirts at the front of the Shelter then got stuck in around site from the conservation work to charity shop, caring for to cleaning out the 450+ animals at the GSPCA.
After a day of helping behind the scenes the group were given a guided tour of the Shelter and were told about the work that goes on 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Before they all left they were presented with thank you certificates and our latest newsletter and thanked for all of their help.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Once again we are hugely grateful to the team from Aonwho helped us at the GSPCA last Wednesday."
"It was great to meet the 8 staff from Aon who helped with our new herb garden, sorting out our charity shop and with the many animals in our care."
"On Wednesday 14th June at 6.30pm we have our next volunteer induction evening and if you are interested in helping us please do come along to find out more."
