For only five pounds you can buy a gift certificate that will give one of the animals in our care a fantastic Christmas.

That’s right you will receive a certificate for yourself or someone you care for and that will enable us at the Shelter to give the animals in our care a very special Christmas Day.

Staff and volunteers working at the Shelter on Christmas Day will ensure the animals in our care have a present, a lovely meal and of course lots of very special hugs and cuddles. Don't worry we won't cuddle our wildlife but we will ensure they get lot's of extra wild treats like meal worms, honey or extra fish depending on what they are.

Alternatively for only £25 you can purchase a gift certificate that will allow the holder to have a guided tour of the Shelter in January as well as a chance to the meet the GSPCA Manager over a hot drink and a cake.

This is a chance to see behind the scenes and many of the animals at the Shelter.  You will also find out about the GSPCA’s plan for 2013 and about the amazing work we have done through 2013.

The current dates are Saturday 12th and Saturday 19th January.  The talk and tours will be about an hour long and only those with gift certificates will be able to join.

These proved very popular last Christmas and those that attended all said they enjoyed their visit and seeing the wonderful work carried out by the GSPCA.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said ‘It was wonderful to meet so many caring visitors last year and show them just exactly what the GSPCA does and what work is carried out.’  ‘Last year we had visitors young and old, from all walks in life.’  ‘Some came as gifts and others bought them for themselves to see what we do and since then the Animal Shelter has developed and grown and even those that came last year would see some fantastic changes at the Shelter and find out about our plans for 2013.’
