After nearly 13 years of service the team at the GSPCA will sadly be waving off Inez Rawcliffe who has been a fantastic member of staff working primarily with the Boarding Cats as well as helping other team members care for the hundreds of animals at the GSPCA.
Inez who works opposite Collette Pattimore 3 morning on 3 days off has helped care for thousands of cats over the years and we will all be very sad to see her retire.
With Inez leaving this does mean that an opportunity has arisen for a part time post at the GSPCA. We are looking for someone with excellent customer care skills that can work with the public and help care for their animals, especially the cats.
This will be primarily be in the new build that was completed last year starting at 8am and finishing at 1pm 3 mornings and 3 off on a rolling rota with the potential of additional shifts and hours.
Steve Bynre GSPCA Manager said "I have known Inez for over 4 years and she has been a rock always reliable and en-devours to ensure the animals in her care receive everything they need with excellent standards of cleanliness and we will really miss her when she leaves at the end of this month."
"I am sure many of our regular customers and the cats will miss her too as she always did her very best."
"With Inez sadly leaving the team here at the GSPCA this does mean there is a post available for someone looking to primarily work with the cats and their owners in our boarding section 3 mornings on and 3 off and it would be great if the successful person is flexible and willing to work closely with Collette to ensure we continue the excellent care and cover in this department."
"There is the opportunity for the successful candidate to potentially help with additional hours and night duties if they are interested."
"As we operate 7 days a week whoever is interested will need to work bank holidays and weekends."
