On the 13th March a stray bunny was rescued from 4 cats.
The male black lionhead rabbit was found worried for its life on Victoria Avenue.
Despite is ordeal the bunny now named 'Paddy' is doing well although the staff are caring for him as he was found with a few matts in his long hair.
The team are appealing for the owner of the bunny to please get in touch with the GSPCA on 01481 257261 or email [email protected]
As with all strays under the Guernsey Animal Welfare ordinance 2012 we care for them for 21 days and if no owner comes forward we will look to find the rabbit a new home.
Sadly hundreds of animals stray and are unclaimed every year in Guernsey and if you know anyone who has lost a pet please do ask them to get in touch with us here at the GSPCA.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager "Despite being chased by cats Paddy the lionhead stray rabbit is doing well."
"We help nearly 200 rabbits every year in Guernsey at the GSPCA and Paddy is one of the lucky strays that was found before he became possibly a cats dinner."
"This Sunday at 11am we have the first of our Easter Egg Hunts and tours and you need to book before the end of Saturday to confirm your childs place on 257261."
"If you know who owns this stray rabbit please do get in touch with us at the GSPCA."
