The GSPCA has been situated in the heart of Guernsey in the Parish of St Andrews since 1929.
The GSPCA site has transformed over the years and especially in recent years with the kennels being rebuilt in 2005 and the new multi purpose animal welfare building in 2016.
The Animal Shelter helps in excess of 3000 animals every year that come though the doors, but there are many more supported by the work we do.

For the fourth year the GSPCA has tickets for the Channel Islands Christmas Lottery on sale at the Animal Shelter reception desk and you only have hours left.
The 2015 tickets which are only £2 each are on sale and each have two numbers on and a scratch card section.
Profits from the lottery will help local charities, which is due to be drawn on 18th December 2014.

The GSPCA are hugely grateful to the St Andrews Floral Group and the Guernsey Probation Team for all of their help and support at the GSPCA.
Since 2012 the Guernsey Probation Service have not only supported the GSPCA at events, decorating, gardening, with group work and individual placements, there are many other ways in which they have helped.
This weekend a work group assisted a team of volunteers from the St Andrews Floral Group improve and clear the grounds and banks at the Animal Shelter on Rue Des Truchots.

During 2014 the GSPCA and KGV ran a firework poster competition with many of the local schools.
Chloe Butt (8), a pupil at St. Andrews Primary School had a surprise last year when she was told that she had won a party for her year on the 3G Pitch at the KGV. Chloe was the winner of the GSPCA design a firework and bonfire poster competition.
Here are just some of the many entries all of which have great advice and messages -

The GSPCA would like to thank a very kind and brave young lady.
Ailsa Duncan age 10 raised a fantastic £51 through sponsorship after taking a very cold dip in the sea.
As many adults and some youngsters brave the sea on Christmas Day, Ailsa aged 10 took the opportunity to combine a brave act with raising funds to help animals in Guernsey by doing the Polar Bear Swim.

Yesterday the GSPCA and supporters spent the day at the Last Post celebrating St Andrews Day.
A fun family day was held in the Parish of St Andrews to raise funds for animals in Guernsey.
The GSPCA has been based in St Andrews since 1929 and for the first time we held an event to celebrate our Parishes Saint.
We had a small fun dog show, lots of games, goods on sale, a raffle and great entertainment.
