On the 24th September we are holding a Fun Family Day, Car Boot Sale and Fun Dog Show at the Mallard Cinema and through the day the GSPCA takes over all 4 screens to show a selection of films which will be of your choice and we need your help.

The films we are aiming to show will be for children and we need you to tell us what films you would like to come along to.

We need your votes to help us choose which films to show on the day and here is the survey - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9HB736W

You have 5 days to vote and at 5pm on Sunday 13th August when voting closes and we will then review the top choices and with the Mallard Cinema decide which films will be shown on the 24th September in aid of the GSPCA and the many animals in our care.

There will also be a very exciting premier being shown and proceeds will also help the GSPCA.......more details coming soon............

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We are all very excited at the GSPCA to be working with the Mallard Cinema to be putting on a unique event for all the family on Sunday 24th September."

"This week we are hoping the Guernsey community will vote for the films to be shown as the Mallard are kindly allowing us to take over all 4 screens in aid of the many animals at the GSPCA."

"As mentioned my all time favourite film is the Lion King and it is films for children we are aiming for."

"If parents can lease ask their little ones and then vote via our survey monkey questionnaire we can see which are your favourites."

"We will then review the top choices with the Mallard and advertise those that will be shown."

"Sunday 24th September will be a full day of events as the Mallard have large fields and plenty of parking so we have planned stalls, fun dog show, car boot sale, games, some of the animals from the GSPCA and much more all to make a great day for the family."

Daniel Phillips Mallard Cinema General Manager "The Mallard Cinema are proud to be supporting the GSPCA with this great event planned for the 24th September for all the family and their dogs."

"Being a rescue dog owner myself I know all about the great work carried out by animal charities and at the mallard we want to help the GSPCA raise much needed funds for their vital work here in Guernsey."

"All 4 screens at the Mallard will be showing films of the publics choice in aid of the GSPCA and we are looking forward having a great Family Fun Day, Fun Dog Show and Car Boot Sale in our grounds before the cinema showing so no matter what the weather there will be plenty to do and see through the day."
