GSPCA Advent Calendar Day 12 - Can you help us help Betty find that special someone this Christmas

All we want for Christmas is to find Betty a home.
At the GSPCA we do not promote pets as presents but we are looking to find Betty that very special someone.
Betty is an amazing English Bull Terrier, bouncy, energetic and a really silly dog. She is a typical Bully and tends to go through things; acting first and thinking later.
She has lived with a Shih Tzu and could live with another dog but new owners must be keen to continue the work of the Shelter staff ads she can get over excited around other dogs. Betty does lack road sense and her recall is not her strong point so she will have to be walked on a long training line for her own safety and to prevent her from rushing up to and bowling over other dogs.
Betty likes the sound of her own voice so new owners will have to learn to ignore her barking at them and be creative in teaching her alternatives. Because Betty will get over excited and jumpy we would advise older robust children that don't want to take her out for walks; her training will be ongoing and adult supervision will be required for it to be successful. Betty really is an amazing dog guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
She loves cuddles and has a fantastic personality. She will brighten up your day and steal most of your bed at night time. Betty does have some health issues which require on-going medication and observation from her foster carer.
