At the GSPCA we are normally appealing for homes for animals, but we are currently appealing for your unwanted soft toys.
The cuddly toys we are appealing for will found good homes as prizes on some of our games to help raise funds for the Shelter such as our upcoming Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.
If you have any unwanted soft toys then please pop them up to the Shelter or if you need a vehicle to pick up quite a few then please let us know and we can arrange collection.
This Sunday on the 26th May we will be holding our seventh Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday and there is a huge amount planned.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "At the GSPCA we are always over run with animals and currently have over 500 in our care, but we are currently after more, well the soft toy type anyway!"

"Also we are still after people to join in the Animal Mascot 5-a-side football and any volunteers to help on the day."
