On a very wet windy Sunday the GSPCA joined the Alternative Solutions Guernsey 2018 Waterfront Marathon for their Seafront Sunday.
Despite a wet and windy day we’d like to thank all that supported and helped our GSPCA stall.

The tenth anniversary of the Guernsey Marathon this century takes place this Sunday on the 26th August and the GSPCA will be joining them with our stall to raise funds and promote our work at the GSPCA.
The Alternative Solutions Guernsey 2018 Waterfront Marathon are seeking more stall holders and we have kindly said that we would share Peter Heads email who is the organiser if you would like to book a stall. To book please email Peter by contacting - [email protected]
The last Sunday in August saw the last Seafront Sunday of 2017 the GSPCA could attend with a stall to raise funds for animals in Guernsey and it was The 2017 Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management Guernsey Marathon & Relay Races
A huge thank you must go to Sarah Petit and her family as well as volunteers like Bridget who popped along to give a hand.
With the sun shining a fantastic day was had by all and a wonderful £343 was raised to help the many animals at the GSPCA.
This Sunday we will be at the last Seafront Sunday of 2017 we can attend which will be along the front in St Peter Port with a stall to raise fund for animals in Guernsey at The 2017 Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management Guernsey Marathon & Relay Races
We set up from 8am and the stall opens around 10am.

On Sunday 28th August we joined the last Seafront Sunday of 2016 in St Peter Port with a stall raising fund for animals in Guernsey at The 2016 Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management Guernsey Marathon & Relay Races
This 2016 Seafront Sunday's have all proved wonderful days entertaining the local and tourist crowds they attracted and the GSPCA has been to many of the Summer fund raisers and even organised the Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday earlier this year.

This weekend we will be attending the last Seafront Sunday of 2015.
This year we have had a stall at each of the Seafront Sundays and this weekend we will have a stall at the Taste Seafront Sunday.
We set up from 8am near the Town Church end of the seafront and if you can help volunteer we would love to hear from you.

We would like to say a BIG thank you to Animal Collection Officer who ran the Guernsey Marathon to raise funds for the GSPCA on Sunday.
Geoff has been training for some months and finished in a time just over 3 hours 40 minutes.
Although a little sore he was back in work on Monday rescuing and helping animals in need.
Geoff George said 'I've raised over £500 so far to help animals in Guernsey and the GSPCA and I must thank all that have donated.'
'I'm already thinking of doing another marathon and hoping to get an even quicker time.'
