Warning from States of Guernsey regarding Foot and Mouth in Germany and other outbreaks in Europe

Today the States of Guernsey issued the following advice -

‘The States of Guernsey 

Following the outbreak of foot and mouth disease in Germany in January, there have been further outbreaks of the disease in Hungary and Slovakia.

ADVICE - Avian Bird Flu cases continue across the UK and latest advice from the States Vets Department

Last week this announcement was made by the Staes Vet department in Guernsey -

‘Good morning,

There are currently outbreaks of bird flu in wild and kept birds in the UK. This is a reminder to all poultry keepers to remain vigilant and maintain good biosecurity so as to avoid any local outbreaks.
