This year’s EV Expo was held at Vazon on Saturday 7th July and the GSPCA would like to say a huge thanks to all involved and supported the wonderful event.
The reason the GSPCA went along was thanks to Novamotion the GSPCA now has an electric van which is being used as an Animal Ambulance and a further thanks to Plug-N-Go.com for the charging point and JER Electrical for fitting the electrical charging point for free.
This Spring Novamotion kindly donated an electric Renault Kangoo van to the GSPCA which is the first time the Shelter has had an electric vehicle which should help make savings of around £1000 a year in fuel.
This was the third year the event has been run and once again was a popular way to see all kinds of electric cars, e-bikes and mobility scooters and visitors got to speak to those who drive them and sell them all organised by EV Guernsey.
The GSPCA was there with our new electric Animal Ambulance on show and GSPCA Warden and Volunteer has on sale our raffle tickets with a top prize of £1000.
The raffle tickets are still on sale at the GSPCA reception area and the draw takes place at the GSPCA 1920’s Ball at the Farmhouse Hotel in September which there are limited places still available for.

“We raised over £70 selling raffle tickets which will be drawn at the GSPCA 1920’s Ball at the Farmhouse Hotel which is on the 22nd September.”
