We have many cats in need of a new home but for those that have a Broomstick but no Black Cats then Mitzi is just one of the ladies who is hoping her luck in finding a new home will change.
Madame Mitzi is a lady who knows her own mind, Mitzi is on a diet at this time which she really is not happy about but it is very important that she loses weight which could lead to health issues later in life. Mitzi is not a lap Cat and prefers to do her own thing, likes attention on her terms and is ideal for people who like the presence of a Cat around. Needs a home as an only pet and is not suitable for children.
Also for a younger male Cat Sandy is till in need of a new home. Sandy was the kitten that was so scared he ran off the wall next to Herm Kiosk in St Peter Port and was extremely lucky that the tide was out.
Sandy is a lovely 15 wk old Kitten who is in need of a quiet home with no young children, he has had a traumatic start in life and will take time to get to know and trust new owners. Has a lot of love to give in the right home.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said 'Sandy and Mitzi are just two of over 50 Cats we have here at the GSPCA in need of support and new homes.'
'Many of the Cats at the Shelter haven't had the best start in life and we are appealing for anyone interested in adopting a Cat or any Animal to please get in touch as we have all sorts in need.'
'We don't want anyone to rush into adopting a new pet, but want people to think long and hard before adopting a new family member as it can be a very long commitment.'
'Our Black Cats often get over looked and we often struggle to find the older Cats forever homes so if you are interested please do get in touch on 257261 or pop into the Shelter in St Andrews Monday to Saturday between 11am and 4.30pm.'
