The GSPCA would like to thank the staff from Ardel Trust Company (Guernsey) Limited (formerly known as Bachmann Trust Company Limited) for their very kind donation recently. Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager was invited to attend a lunch where a number of charities got to meet some of the staff who had raised this wonderful amount of money to help charity work in Guernsey.
The staff at Ardel Trust (Guernsey) Limited have a staff mufti collection that every so often they share between a number of charities that they decide upon. The GSPCA was one and all of the animals in our care would like to extend a massive thank you as this money will go a long way in helping the welfare of both domestic and wild animals that we deal with every day.
The Grand Total was £400 and without kind donations such as this we wouldn’t be able to carry out the much needed animal welfare work here in Guernsey.

An example of what we do is at this time of year we see many injured animals through firework and bon fire related incidents. We have already heard of a hedgehog that didn’t make it after being caught in a fire.
