Earlier this year 2 guinea pigs found a wonderful new home having been with the Shelter for many months.
Morla and Mudface are two black guinea pigs that arrived last Summer and had been with the GSPCA for some time as when they arrived they had ringworm and required months of treatment and care before going up for adoption.
Morla and Mudface despite being quite famous as they have been on Gsy Radio and attended the Easter Eggstravaganza with Island FM and Cooper Brouard took many months before they found a new home, but in April that all changed.
New owner Simon Le Tocq got in touch to let us know “Hope you’re well, I am just writing to say thank you and to let you know about the excellent service I received.”
“We adopted two guinea pigs and your team could not have done a better job.”
“We have not had cavies before and your receptionist was really helpful and informative.”
“Emma then showed us the animals and explained more about them and shortly after we collected them.”
“Becky was amazing – really friendly, really helpful and we left thinking what a great team you have.”
“Everyone showed great care for the animals and helped answer our questions.”

“Currently we have 33 rabbits and 9 guinea pigs in need of loving new homes, many of which can be seen on our website.”
