The 15th Torteval Scarecrow Festival will be held this weekend on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July 2018.

As well as the scarecrows, there will be the tea tent, the old tractor club, bouncy castles, ice cream, pop corn, bric-a-brac, souvenirs, hot dogs, craft tents, Rocquette cider, Guernsey Gâche, the plant stall and a ton of other stuff - in fact, everything you need for a great family day out!

This is the fourth year the GSPCA are taking part in this wonderful community event and we are hugely grateful to the McIntyre family for the kind use of their front garden.

Are you wondering what the GSPCA theme is? Well you’ll have to head down this weekend to support the Torteval Scarecrow Festival to find out.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “A team of GSPCA staff and volunteers have been busy over the last few months preparing our entry for the Torteval scarecrow Festival which takes place this weekend.”

“We are hugely grateful to the organisors for allowing us to take part for the fourth year in the Torteval Scarecrow Festival with our GSPCA entry and to the McIntyre family for allowing us to use their front garden.”

“If you want to know what our display is from the GSPCA for the Torteval Scarecrow Festival then please come down this weekend to see our entry and the many wonderful others.”

Seb Goman Chief of GSPCA Scarecrows said “We have all been busy after work at the GSPCA meeting and building our Torteval Scarecrow Festival entry.”

“We really enjoy taking part in the Torteval Scarecrow Festival and thank you to all those involved.”
