After a very busy Guernsey Careers Show the GSPCA are expecting a full house for our next Volunteer Induction Evening on Wednesday May 6th.
Whilst at the Careers Show at Beau Sejour the GSPCA team spoke to dozens of interested students and adults looking to help animals in Guernsey.
The next induction will be held at the GSPCA 6.30pm on Wednesday May 6th.
All ages are welcome, but to help on site with the animals you have to be 14 years old or over.
Today is the first day of the GSPCA Annual Cupcake Wek.
Each year we sell a selection of Cupcakes at the GSPCA as well as ask those around Guernsey to make, bake and sell cake at schools, work places, your local group or to friends.
Monday 27th April to the 3rd May 2015 is the third GSPCA Cupcake Week here in Guernsey
Can you make/bake & sell cupcakes to raise money for the GSPCA? By doing so you would be helping many injured and abandoned animals.
Tomorrow we welcome our Exclusive Build Partners to the first ceremony of our new multi purpose animal welfare building.
On Sunday 12th April at 9.30am Island FM and Creature Comforts invited dog owners to join them and ourselves on a brisk walk from Liberation Monument to Bulwer Avenue and returning to Liberation Monument.
On Thursday 16th April we will be inviting our Exclusive Build Partners to the first ceremony of our new multi purpose animal welfare building.
This week over 70 children took part in some Easter fun at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews.
Children met the Easter Bunny and GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne before having a tour of many of the animals, especially the bunny rabbits.
As the groups were shown around they had a treasure hunt to complete whilst learning all about rabbits.
After the tour the groups arrived at the events room where after finding out the answers and receiving prizes they were issued with buckets for an Easter Egg Hunt.
