On Sunday 22nd July the GSPCA went along to the Guernsey Motor Festival Seafront Sunday with our stall to raise funds for the 500+ animals in our care and promote our work.
The Guernsey Motor Festival welcomed many local stallholders to their Seafront Sunday including the GSPCA, who were showcasing their fantastic products, and giving a real local festival feel to the Seafront.
There was plenty to see and do and one of the GSPCA supporters kindly parked their sports car next to our stall which helped draw the crowds in as many of the visitors were real car enthusiasts.
Michelle Champion GSPCA staff member said “A huge thank you to the organisors and all that supported the Guernsey Motor Festival Seafront Sunday.”
“We had a great time on the GSPCA stall and raised an amazing £727.94.”
“We have events all through August and would love to hear from anyone that would like to help us on our stall.”
“There are many other ways to help volunteer and tonight at 6.30pm we have a volunteer induction evening at the GSPCA.”
Suzy Rose GSPCA Volunteer and Warden said “We had a lovely day at the Guernsey Motor Festival Seafront Sunday.”
“We raised over £720 on our stall and selling raffle tickets.”
“The raffle has a top prize of £1000 and will be drawn at the GSPCA 1920’s Ball at the Farmhouse Hotel which is on the 22nd September.”
