Thank you to the young men selling paper planes to help animals in Guernsey

Last week two young lads came to visit the GSPCA.

The reason for the visit was that they had raised £16.40 to help the animals at the GSPCA.

The two young men had a ‘paper sale’ and sold paper planes, paper crackers, paper dogs and fortune tellers for the GSPCA.

They were selling them for 10p each which meant a lot of work to help raise the £16.40 in one afternoon.

A huge thank you to Toby (5) and Oliver (8) who came in with the donation and also to their friends Harry (9) and Jimmy (8) who all go to Vale Primary School.

Michelle Champion GSPCA Charity Shop Supervisor & Warden greeted the lads at the GSPCA reception said "What lovely lads and so kind of them to raise the funds to help the many animals we have at the GSPCA."

"They must have worked so hard and I think when they are older they would make great volunteers for the GSPCA in the charity shop or helping in any department."

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "What wonderful young men Toby, Oliver, Harry and Jimmy are raising funds to help the many animals at the GSPCA."

"We are so touched with the many ways we see the young of today working to help raise funds for animals at the GSPCA many of whom are sick or injured."

"There are many ways to support us at the GSPCA and if anyone would like to do something or get involved please do get in touch we really do appreciate the support."

"This weekend we are appealing for volunteers to help at our Easter Sunday event at Rue Mainguy with Island FM, Regency Bedding and Outdoor Guernsey between 10am and 4pm and tickets are onsale on the Island FM website for this amazing Easter event."
