On the 12th September the at the GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday many of the team of staff at Aurigny gave up their day to run a stall to raise funds for the GSPCA.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “It amazes us the many ways people and businesses support us at the GSPCA and we are incredibly grateful.”
“At our GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday last month a team of staff from Aurigny gave up their day off to come and run a stall at our biggest day of the year to promote Aurigny and raise funds for the GSPCA.”
“It was a fantastic stall with a raffle and lots of goodies.”
“It was fantastic and they raised an incredible £204.69p.”
“Not only did Aurigny raise funds on the day they also gave a pair of tickets to Alderney for the winner of the Giant Animal Mascot Olympics which was great fun.”
“A huge thank you to all of the Aurigny team and we hope to see them again next year.”
Aurigny said on their facebook ‘Thanks to everyone who came to see us at Seafront Sunday we are also grateful to our lovely staff who took time out on the weekend to promote our lovely airline. We raised £204.69 for GSPCA. Thanks also to everyone who took part in the competition. We can now reveal that since pets were introduced on the ATR in November 2019 we have carried 447. A few of you were just one or two out congratulations to Trish who guessed correctly.’
