The GSPCA would like to invite members and those interested to join us at our 137th AGM on Thursday 30th July 2024 to celebrate our 151 year history.

Welcome drinks and nibbles will be available from 7pm, with the meeting starting at 7.30pm at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews., GY6 8UD 

The main agenda items and itinerary will be -

  • Welcome
  • Apologies for absence
  • Presidents Report
  • GSPCA Managers Report
  • Treasurers Report 
  • Adoption of Prepared Accounts
  • Election of Auditors for 2025/26
  • Setting of Membership Rates
  • Election of any new GSPCA Committee Members  -
  • Awards & Certificates of Appreciation
  • Any Other Business

The GSPCA has experienced many challenges in recent years and next month the AGM  will celebrate our 151 year history and our plans for the future.

This AGM is 137th since being founded on the 14th February 1873 and with new build plans and our 150 year celebrations there is so much going on.

GSPCA Annual Membership Subscriptions of £10 for 2025 is now due for those that haven’t paid and you can become a member on the evening of the AGM.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “On Thursday 30th January we will be holding our 137th AGM at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews during our 151st year soon to be 152 years.”

“Wach AGM we focus on our strategy, values and vision and work 24/7 to do all we can inline with this our mission statement and objectives .”

“The challenges in animal welfare we now face are very different to those we faced in 1873 and each year we help over 3000 animals through our doors and many more around Guernsey.”

“There will be a small selection of drinks and nibbles available on arrival and we are looking forward to a night of celebrations and update on news on the BIG BUILD.”

“We will be honouring many of our team and supporters and we are so thankful to all that ensure we carry out our 24/7 work.”
