Last Friday we had an afternoon volunteer induction at the GSPCA and greeted 7 new faces keen to help.

GSPCA Training and Community Officer Tim Pellett was on hand to welcome each of the new volunteers and run through their induction with them and presenting each with a certificate of attendance at te end of the session.

Tonight at 6.30pm we hold our ninth volunteer induction of 2018 and we have inducted through these a grand total of 108 new volunteers, placements and work experience since the start of 2018.

All are welcome to the induction, although for those wanting to help onsite at the Shelter the minimum age is 13.

For volunteers under 13 we have a huge amount of events taking place which they can help at with a parent or guardian.

The induction starts at 6.30pm Wednesday 1st August and takes around 90 minutes and after a talk you get the chance to chat to a member of the team and set a date to start volunteering.
