Catrina the road accident cat still at the vets and doing well

We are pleased to report that Catrina the cat continues to improve although she is still under the care of the vets.
Sadly as no owner has come forward for Catrina in the 21 days required under Guernsey law. The job we have now at the GSPCA with the help of Isabelle Vets is to get her well and strong enough to find her a home.
Catrina who was found as a stray in L'Islet after being hit by a car last month has received fantastic support and thanks to the donations her operation has been covered but with her ongoing treatment and care and donations to help her or the 350 animals at the Shelter is really appreciated.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Catrina is incredibly sweet and despite having had a major operation and having been through so much everyone that meets her falls in love."
"Catrina's operation went very well and we'd like to thank all that have donated so far to her care, she is still at the vets undergoing physio and improves each day."
"With any stray pet we care for them for 21 days and sadly as no owner has come forward we will now carry on the care to get her healthy and ready to find a forever home which may take weeks or possibly months."
"There are many ways to donate towards Catrina and the animals at the GSPCA or next week we have our next volunteer induction if you'd like to come and help us, it takes place on Monday at 630pm."
"We will of course keep you up to date on Catrina's progress."
