Catrina the road traffic accident cat is back at the GSPCA after a month at the vets and no owner found

We overjoyed to report that Catrina is now at the GSPCA after over a month at Isabelle Vets.
Catrina was found on a wet, cold, dark evening 5 weeks ago after being hit by a car and has needed intensive care at the vets.
Sadly with no microchip and no owner this loving, affectionate and sweet cat has been cared for by the team at Isabelle Vets and the GSPCA.
Catrina needed an extensive operation and her veterinary treatment continues as she has a number of health issues but she is improving on a daily basis.
Anna Paint Senior Animal Care Assistant said "Catrina is such a sweet loving cat."
"We were so please to have her finally back at the GSPCA after so many weeks of veterinary care at the vets."
"She's such a cheeky lady always trying to get your attention and helping with the cleaning."
"It will be months before all of her wounds are healed and any help towards her care is much appreciated."
"Catrina is one of three road traffic accident cats in our care at the GSPCA which as you can imagine with all their treatment is keeping us very busy."
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "It is wonderful to have Catrina back at the GSPCA as she has been through so much."
"The vets have been very kind looking after Catrina but her medical costs continue as she will need weeks if not months of care as will two other road traffic accidents we have at the GSPCA and any donations towards their care would be hugely appreciated."
"Sadly if you visit the GSPCA you won't be able to see Catrina as she is in an intensive care unit, but you can see many of the animals between 11am and 430pm for a donation."
"We will of course keep you up to date on Catrina's progress."
