Giant Animal Mascot It's a Knock Out for the GSPCA
Once again we will be holding a Giant Animal Mascot Race but this year there are a few twists.
This is open to mascots and individuals prepared to dress as an animal.
We are asking businesses, pubs, individuals or anyone as a team of 4 or an individual.
Don't worry about what to wear we will provide the Giant Animal Mascot suit and have over 70 available.
To join in the team race which will be a little like 'It's A Knockout' we are asking you to raise funds for the Shelter for a team or the same if you would like to race individually..
All the money raised will go towards helping animals in Guernsey.
This year there is no cost but we do ask you raise sponsorship which will cover the cost of the animal outfit, an advert in our Summer and Autumn Newsletter, allow you to put a banner up on the day and be part of a fun fund raising event.
We are looking to have a Fancy Dress Childrens Race and if you know of anyone that would like to take part please do get in touch.
We would also love to hear from schools that may like to get involved.
Corporate sponsors and businesses get to choose their suits or if they wish to provide their own it must be an animal and we still require the application form completed with the minimum sponsorship.
There are lots of events happening during the Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday from a fun dog show, arts and crafts stalls, live music, bouncy castles, kids games, food stalls, picture competitions, doggy dancing and much more
This is the fourth year the event has taken place and in previous years we have seen Bernard, Daniel the Island FM Donkey and Roary the GFC Lion and over 70 other competitors.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Every year our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday is a great family fun day out."
"This year we are trying to encourage as many people to join in the Giant Animal Mascot Race by asking only that you raise sponsorship with no direct registration fee, but all donations are welcome."
"The first registrations have already come in from Crabby Jacks and Virtus Trust."
"There will be plenty for the family to do from stalls to live music, a fun dog show to an animal selfie picture competition."
