On Thursday and Friday last week 16 staff from The Travel Corporation gave up a day in the office to help out at the GSPCA.
The team of staff were split into 8 on each day and both groups arrived at 9am where they received a short induction before helping around site with the 300 animals at the Shelter in St Andrews.
A number of the group were versed in helping at the GSPCA after helping last year at the Shelter for a day.
On Thursday we welcomed Katie Mauger, Courtney Walters, Stevie Regan, Lisa Goman, Sasha Wood, Stephanie Nickolls, Amber Holt and Donavan Elliot then on the Friday we welcomed Richelle Swart, Deanna Le Page, Stephanie Clarke, Eleanor O’Donnell, Jack Fraser, Ashley Conquest, Wayne Ogier and Elisha Wilson.
Before each group were set to work they met the GSPCA Managers dog 'Toby' and recently adopted puppy 'Rosie' for a quick photo at the front of the Shelter. Once they had their group picture the GSPCA team came to the reception area where The Travel Corporation staff were shared between the team to help around site care for and clean out the many animals.
We are hugely grateful to The Travel Corporation as not only is this the second year they have helped at the GSPCA, they are also part of our Build Partner sponsorship scheme which is a way businesses can donate to our new multi purpose animal welfare building and be part of our future.
