Did you leave your chickens at the gym? Two stray chickens found at Beau Sejour now at the GSPCA

Earlier this month two chickens were rescued at Beau Sejour.
The two birds weren't actually in the gym but walking around the car park through the cars and vans parking.
GSPCA Animal Collection Officer Geoff George was called out on the 16th February and to date no owner has come forward.
While some will be shopping for their eggs to make Pancakes and many poultry owners will be aware of the precautions being recommended due to the risks of avian flu being continued the GSPCA are appealing for anyone that has lost two chickens near Beau Sejour to contact the Animal Shelter.
Geoff George Animal Collection Officer said "We rescued the two birds on the 16th February and are appealing for an owner to come forward."
"They are both well and if anyone is missing any animal in Guernsey please do call us on 257261."
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "While many will be tucking into eggs produced by chickens as well as making pancakes with them and bird owners around Europe are ensuring their poultry are safe and well with the risks of avian flu, here at the GSPCA we are appealing for information to find the owner of these two birds found at Beau Sejour on the 16th February."
"We have a number of stray animals at the GSPCA and if ever your pet does go missing please do contact us so we have a record and can get in touch if we do rescue or have information for you."
