You may remember last November a feral kitten was rescued from the Admiral Park area in Guernsey.
The kitten was extremely nervous and she had a belly full of worms and a coat covered in fleas.
After a series of treatments and care at the GSPCA she was fit enough to go to a new home.
This week at the GSPCA we have received an update and we are pleased to announce she is doing extremely well.
Anna Paint Senior Animal Care Assistant said "Spot was extremely nervous and in bit of a state when she first arrived at the GSPCA last November."
"Spot grew in confidence whilst she was at the Animal Shelter and just after Christmas and the New Year she was ready to go to a new home."
"This week we have received an update and Spot who is now called Minion is doing really well."
Here is an update from one of Minion's new owners - "She is so at home."
"Our Maine Coon Charlie's Charlie has almost accepted her."
"Spot now Minion is so happy! We love her soooo much!"
"Again thank you so much for letting us adopt her!" said Cindy Kay.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "It is always wonderful when we receive updates from animals adopted from the Shelter, especially when they've had a difficult start in life."
"When Spot now Minion arrived she was really scared."
"Our current rehoming cattery is over 40 years old and we are currently fund raising through our Build Partner programme to help us build our new multi purpose animal welfare building."
"We are looking for businesses and individuals to join our Build Partner programme so that we can look to the future of the GSPCA."
"Next week we celebrate our 142nd anniversary at the GSPCA and we have a Purple Week to celebrate with a number of events and to find out more please check out our website or call 01481 257261."
