Dog and Cat Emergency First Aid Training Courses set for 2017

Every year we hear of pet owners being faced with circumstances of their pets being injured or caused harm often through no fault but an accident.
To help pet owners each year we hold a series of training courses and we have set dates for first aid courses for those interested in helping dogs and cats.
The dates set for 2017 are:
Cat First Aid 6.30pm - 8.45pm Wednesday 10th May 2017 - Ref - Cat 10/05
Dog First Aid 6.30pm - 8.45pm Thursday 18th May 2017 - Ref - Dog 18/05
Dog First Aid 6.30pm - 8.45pm Wednesday 22nd November 2017 - Ref - Dog 22/11
All first aid courses are a minimum £20 donation and you must book your place by the lunch time on the day of the training session.
Within the sessions you get the chance to learn about what to do if you were faced with an emergency situation with your dog or cat. All participants receive handouts, a few goodies and a certificate.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "The dog and cat first aid courses are designed to help those wanting to learn how to perform life saving first aid to their pets or animals they may come across."
"We cover all aspects of first aid for pets from CPR to seizures and all for just £20 which goes towards helping the many animals in our care at the GSPCA."
