A fantastic Family Fun Day with Guernsey College at Delancey Park

On Thursday the GSPCA joined Guernsey College who were raising funds for 3 charities at Delancey Park.

Guernsey College Health & Social Care, Sport and Childcare students and staff arranged an event at Delancey Park which despite a grey start proved extremely popular with well over 1000 visitors.

The event made the most of the half term and there was fun for all the family. From stalls, games, a raffle, food, inflatables, face painting and plenty more to do and see.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager and Ellie Fox GSPCA Volunteer manned what proved to be a very busy GSPCA stall which raised in excess of £700 to help the hundreds of animals at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We'd like to say from all at the GSPCA thank you to Guernsey College for their invite to their Family Fun Day which was a lovey day and we raised an amazing £700."

"There was plenty to do and our stall raising funds for the many animals at the GSPCA was kept busy all day."

"Thank you to everyone that supported our fun stall it was really appreciated."
