Around the hedges of the GSPCA and at our vedge hedge stall we have hidden and placed teddies and dolls where a child can collect one for free, but donations very much appreciated at this very difficult time.

If you have too many teddies especially animal ones then they would be very much appreciated for this event and other upcoming events.
From the entries of #PetorateToDecorate a local winner will go through to compete against entries from across the British Isles and Ireland and this is a great way to celebrate and show your support to animal charities.

Ideas for #PetorateToDecorate –
- Fill your living room window with animal teddies
- Make a display of animal scarecrows in your front garden
- Draw a picture of your pets and write #PetoratetoCelebrate to promote our campaign
- Pop your favourite teddy bear in your car window with a sign #PetoratetoCelebrate
- Place your animal ornaments in a fun display in your front window
- Chalk draw in the front of your house a lovely animal display with #PetoratetoCelebrate
- For those wanting to go the full mile paint an animal display on the side of your house and write a message of support to your local charity or the ADCH Coronavirus Emergency Appeal
- Display pictures of your pets past or present
The GSPCA who is a member of the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) and animal rescues across the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey really need your support as each struggles through the coronavirus crisis to raise funds and care for tens thousands of animals.
The ADCH is a membership organisation made up of 150 charities across these jurisdictions and with a further 1,050 animal charities the ADCH Coronavirus Emergency Appeal has been launched to help those charities in most need.

“With fund raisers having been cancelled, shops been closed and so few animals boarding, raising the £2000 a day to run the GSPCA has become a huge challenge during these difficult days.”
