Getting involved with this years Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday 15th September 2013

From all at the GSPCA we hope you are well and you had a good Liberation Day yesterday.

We are planning our 2nd Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday and would like to thank all that supported and helped with what was a fantastic day last year, we really did appreciate it.

For the 2013 event we are looking to make it bigger and better and plans are already underway.

You may have already been in touch with being involved but we are asking to invite you to this years event.

If you would like a stall or know someone that might be interested this year commercial stalls are £15 and charity stalls are free.

We are welcoming any sponsorship towards the day whether it be towards the -

This year for those that sponsor any of the above we are offering a free place in the Giant Animal Mascot Race.

The Giant Animal Mascots will feature on our web site after our Summer Fayre and Dog Show which is at Fairfields on Sunday 2nd June http://www.gspca.org.gg/blog/gspca-summer-fayre-dog-show-fairfields-sunday-2nd-june-2013

To join in the Giant Animal Mascot Race we are looking for a minimum sponsorship of £100 and we have over 70 giant animal suits to choose from. For charities if you have your own suit places are free and if any Island mascots would like to get involved we are welcoming them to get involved. This years race we also have a few surprises planned.

Last years race and tug-o-war was a fantastic success and a lot of fun. There are loads of videos on our youtube account which you can see by clicking here.

Would like a pitch?

We are looking for charities to run stalls representing their organisation showing their involvement with animals or with an animal theme. Also businesses that feel they play a valuable part in animal welfare such as vets. If you have an art and crafts business you are also welcome.

Applications must be returned by the 31st August but we urge all stall holders to ensure applications are in by the 15th July.
