Golden oldie Abigail the cat is now in her new home

At nearly 13 years of age and arrived at the Shelter last June we are pleased to announce that Abigail is now in a new home.
Abigail who was one of the older cats at the Shelter and certainly a staff favorite went to her new home on Saturday.
At the GSPCA we see animals of all sizes and ages but unfortunately the older animals are often over looked for the youngsters. At the Shelter we currently have a number of older cats looking for that loving retirement home.
Sophie is a tortie old age pussy cat and needs a new home. She is very healthy despite her age and loves attention and sitting on your lap. She isn't keen on other pets, so would like a quiet home where she can get all the attention she wants.
Lou Lou is another old age pussy cat who would love a forever home. As with many of our older cats she is on treatment for the rest of her life and needs a very special home.
We also often have cats that are nervous, timid or need a farm or stable type home. Felix is such a cat and has been with us since October 2011. She is very nervous but loves to watch the staff and volunteers are doing their work. On occasions she will take treats from the team but what she really wants is a home where she can do her own thing.
