We would like to say a huge thank you to the kind an caring supporters who have donated a number of items recently which will help in the care of the many animals at the GSPCA.
Over the last few weeks we received a number of packages at the Shelter and when we opened them they contained a number of brushes, buckets, cleaners, litter trays and many other goodies.
We recently moved into our new Multi Purpose Animal Welfare Building and many of these items are helping equip it and also around site.
From a feed trolley to mop buckets there are many items on our Wish List that we are looking for.
You can see all of the items that we are would love to have at the GSPCA and more by going to our Amazon Wish List, but don't forget many of the items can be purchased locally and donated to the Shelter.
Every day the GSPCA faces challenges and to keep up with the many demands we are always looking at ways in which we can ensure we can look after the 300+ animals in our care.
We never know quite what we will need to rescue or care for and that means at the Shelter we are always looking for support and equipment.
We launched our Amazon Wish List over 2 years ago and we all love it when items arrive that we desperately need.
From animal feed bowls to litter trays, a new dryer to cleaning equipment there are many items to choose to donate.
We have now moved into the new facility and to run it efficiently we have already received fantastic new equipment to help clean the many animal enclosures.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We never quite now what will arrive in the post at the GSPCA and recently we have been overwhelmed with wonderful gifts and surprises."
"We launched our Amazon Wish List over 2 years ago and we are extremely grateful to everyone that donated gifts and items from it."
"There is much of what we use on our Amazon Wish List and its a great way to donate something directly that we really need."
"Many of the items that have arrived recently didn't have a name attached but we would like to say thank you so much to those that have donated the included litter trays, brushes, buckets, a laminator, hand held vacuums and much more."
Terry Buckley GSPCA Receptionist said "On reception we've had many parcels delivered recently and we've had some great surprises for the animals and equipment we really need."
"We never quite know what will arrive and we are so grateful to all that have donated."
Anna Paint Senior Animal Care Assistant said "We've had all sorts of items though our Amazon Wish List recently from honey for the hedgehogs to cat toys and we have just added many items that we need for the new animal welfare building."
"We never know what we are going to get from our wish list, but from the single bowls at 90p to the large items we really do appreciate everything that arrives as it all helps."
"The new building is looking lovely and full of animals now so we are appealing for the equipment to help care for them and the others on site at the GSPCA."
"It is really busy at the GSPCA and we really appreciate all of the support and help."
The GSPCA always needs a variety of toys, equipment and feed which we occasionally source from Amazon due to the very economical prices.
