GSPCA Animal Advent Calendar Day 14 - A fantastic first day in our on site Pop Up Charity Shop

Today we opened the doors to our on site Pop Up Charity Shop and saw dozens of shoppers buying clothes to pet food.
A huge thank you must go to Michelle Champion who has not only helped set up the shop with her friends and family, she spent much of the first day serving customers.
The shop is situated in part of the new build which was left undeveloped and has rows of goods on sale and even a changing room to try on the clothes.
It is open 9am until 5pm Monday to Saturday and over £100 was raised in the first day.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We have run a number of pop up shops over the years and have been on the look out for a shop, but the new Pop Up Shop on site means we have a lovely area to raise funds from all of the wonderful donated items and at the same time you can see many of the animals the money will go towards as you pass the birds in the aviaries and the cats in the new build."
"A huge thank you to Michelle and friends for all of their hard work and also the Social Security Back to Work placements who helped set up the shop."
"The Pop Up Charity Shop is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and if unmanned we ask shoppers to please pay at our reception desk."
"When you come to the front of the GSPCA reception in St Andrews you need to follow the paw prints on the ground which will take you to the shop door."
