With hundreds of animals in our care this Christmas, could help give them a special day?
If you would like to buy a gift for the animals in our care this Christmas to help make their day you can do so from purchasing an item from our shop or any local store.
Some of the ideal gifts and items we love for the animals in our care are

Yvonne Chauvel Senior Animal Care Assistant said "We don't stop for Christmas at the GSPCA and with 300 animals in our care it will be a busy day for the staff and vounteers that will be caring for them all."
"We are so grateful to the many donations we have already recieved, but as you can imagine having so many it is always lovely when we receive gifts or donations for the animals at the GSPCA."
"This year we will have around 50 hedgehogs, parrots, African frogs,, dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoise, loads of wildlife and even a chinchilla in our care."
"There are many ways to donate, sponsor or buy a gift for an animal at the GSPCA and we thank you for your support."
Over the festive period please remember that in the case of an emergency, sick, injured or stray animal(s) please call 01481 257261 and choose the 24 hour emergency option.
The GSPCA officially stop rehoming on the 15th December until the 2nd January, but some animals may be suitable during these periods. The GSPCA do not believe in pets as presents and each home is looked at individually as is the pet.
The times are below for reception when you can pop in and buy everything from your Christmas lottery tickets to pets presents from the GSPCA Animal Shelter. The GSPCA want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
