Become an exclusive Build Partner

The Build Partner programme is designed to meet the building costs associated with our new £1.3 million multi-purpose animal welfare building. The building replaces five existing structures that have become unusable with age.

Our new building incorporates a welfare cattery, quarantine and isolation facilities, a secure transfer location while also providing logistical and organisational spaces and facilities for the day to day running of the GSPCA.

CSR Volunteering

Whether an individual or a group, here at the GSPCA we can provide CSR opportunities for you and your team to help out at the Animal Shelter.

From individual projects to the daily work, events to administration there is something for everyone.

Many of the volunteers that have helped through their work place have continued to volunteer at the Shelter during their days off and we are very thankful to them for their support.

Fundraising

There are many ways to raise funds for the GSPCA in the work place.  From dress down days to dress up days, issue GSPCA pens to staff to a sponsored event, selling cupcakes for break to a sponsored silence for those chatty staff members…..

Cattery & Quarantine Build Appeal

Membership

As a charity we are made up of members who pay £10 a year to support the work of the GSPCA and for this they receive a number of benefits including a quarterly newsletter.

Over the festive period please remember that in the case of an emergency, sick, injured or stray animal(s) please call 01481 257261 and choose the 24 hour emergency option.

The GSPCA officially stop rehoming on the 15th December until the 2nd January, but some animals may be suitable during these periods. The GSPCA do not believe in pets as presents and each home is looked at individually as is the pet.

The times are below for reception when you can pop in and buy everything from your Christmas lottery tickets to pets presents from the GSPCA Animal Shelter. The GSPCA want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Christmas trees for sale locally grown at the GSPCA. Minimum donation for a tree is –

• Under 2 feet - £25 min. donation
• Under 3 feet - £35 min. donation
• Under 4 feet - £45 min. donation
• Under 5 feet - £55 min. donation
• Under 6 feet - £65 min. donation
• Over 6 feet - £75 min. donation
