Back on Wednesday the 17th April the GSPCA celebrated our 134th AGM.
The meeting was opened and all welcomed by GSPCA President and local Vet John Knight. John gave many of the highlights from 2016 and 2017 from the opening of the new animal welfare building to the many accolades that the GSPCA received. Many thanks were given and much praise was shared with so many that continue to help and support the incredible work that goes on 24/7.
Phil Soulsby the treasurer presented the accounts for 2016/17 and shared the news of the challenges over recent years and how we plan to look to the future with the recent donations and legacies which was also highlighted by GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne who went through the plans for the future and also shared many thanks and praise.
As it was an AGM the Setting of Membership Rates took place which continue to be £10 per year and there options of monthly giving and sponsorship schemes to join the GSPCA.
Also an Election of GSPCA Committee Members took place for a number of the places and we are delighted to confirm that all of the following were elected -
Nominated as President - John Knight
Nominated as Vice President & Secretary – Adele Malpas
Nominated as Vice President – Thomas Le Pelley

Matthew Hale - An invaluable Information Technician who voluntarily supports the GSPCA with his skills We thank him also for his ability to source equipment free of charge from NGIT for the animal shelter
