The GSPCA would like to thank OSA Recruitment for there wonderful Pop Up Charity Shop initiative which started on the 23rd November with Communicate having the first week in the shop.
The Pop Up Shop situated on Smith Street has 4 charities taking part each week in the run up to Christmas including Communicate (who are rebranding as GO), The Red Cross, Bridge2Sri Lanka and the GSPCA.
The GSPCA will be setting up on the final week which starts on the 17th December and we need your help. We are looking for donations of charitable goods to sell as well as volunteers to help.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said 'Last year we put an appeal out for a Charity Shop for the GSPCA and this December our Christmas present has come early thanks to OSA Recruitment.'
'We have been selling bric-a-brac and charity shop goods at the Animal Shelter every Tuesday morning but to have a shop in town is fantastic news and we are all very excited.'
'Not only will there be donated items for sale but we will have a selection of Christmas Pet Supplies and GSPCA Goods ideal for stocking fillers.'
'A huge thank you must go to OSA Recruitment and we look forward setting up and taking a few of our animals down a few giant mascots may be helping run the shop so if you are passing please call in to join in with the festive fun and raise funds to help animals in Guernsey.'
Our first open day at the shop in Smith Street will be the 17th December and if you have any donations please pop them along to the Shelter in St Andrews.
