GSPCA Wish List – Could you or your business sponsor or donate to our Commercial Washing Machine appeal

At the GSPCA we are in need of replacing a Commercial Washing Machine as that which washes hundreds of dog blankets, towels, sheets, beds, protective clothing and much more sadly has had to retire due to its age and condition.

The last machine was kindly donated by the fire service when they replaced there machines and has given many years of excellent service but sadly it has performed its last wash recently and we are appealing for funds for a Primus RX18 18Kg washing machine which with discounts and fitting will cost £7,400 and if you can help in any way please call 01481 257261 or email [email protected] or donate online https://giving.gg/donate/charity/2/Guernsey-Society-for-the-Prevention-of-Cruelty-to-Animals-(GSPCA) 

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager “At the GSPCA we are often in need of items to help care for the 100’s of animals at the GSPCA and currently we are in need a new commercial washing machine as the one donated to us from the fire service many years ago has sadly performed its last wash.”

“The machine helps wash hundreds of blankets, beds, towels and so much more every day, 365 days a year often from 7am in the morning until gone 9pm at night.”

“The model we are looking at is a Primus RX18 18Kg washing machine which CSE has kindly sourced for us and would fit and helped get the best discounts they can for us.”

“We need to raise £7,400 for the machine which includes fitting and a years worth of care for the machine.”
