Guernsey Freemasons helping transport Puffins and can you help with transport to the Guernsey Puffin Parade Auction next Tuesday

The Guernsey Puffin Parade has been a huge success and with them now all collected and being cleaned in readiness for the auction next week there are still a few ways you can get involved.

Saturday 9^th can you help us clean the Puffins at the former Pound Shop on Smith Street
Get your raffle tickets before the BIG draw
Tuesday 12^th September can you help transport the Puffins to St Pierre Park Hotel between 11am and 1pm
Buy your tickets to come along to the Auction on the 12^th September
Can’t make it please send in your bids for the Puffins you would like to purchase

The auction takes place at St Pierre Park Hotel on Tuesday 12^th September at 630pm tickets are now on sale.

Tickets are £15 each and include a glass of prosecco or orange juice and canapes will be served.

“Raffle tickets are still on sale and there are lots of ways you can still help us with this amazing and fun event.”

“From the GSPCA and Autism Guernsey, to the sponsors, the artists, web developers, local businesses and so many more there have been so many that have made this incredible event come together and with the Auction a month away this will be the first time all 60 Puffins will be able to be seen in one place all completed.”

“Last week the GSPCA team Tim Pellet, Neil Hughes and myself with volunteers Deputy Adrian Gabriel, Keith Hounsell, Mike and two fantastic volunteers from Ocorain.”

“Also have to thank many others that have helped with moving the Puffins including a number of Guernsey Freemasons and Matt Hill-Smith one of our awesome GSPCA volunteers with a friend.”

“We really need help now with their movements from the former Pound Shop in Smith Street to the Auction at St Pierre Park Hotel on Tuesday 12^th September between 11am and 1pm and anyone that can help please get in touch.”

Mandy Rowlinson at Autism Guernsey Manager said “Puffin Auction tickets are now on sale but there is limited space.”

“If you are unable to attend the puffin auction but would still like to put in a bid, you can find a commission bid form on our website www.puffinparade.org.gg .”

“Please note that payment must be made before collecting the puffin and all puffins must be collected from St. Pierre Park by noon on Wednesday 13th September.”

“A member of staff will advise you after the auction on the 12th September if you bid has been successful.”

“Thank you to all the artists and volunteers who turned up on Saturday to help touch up the paintwork and clean the puffins, which was a mammoth task.”

“Next Saturday I’ll be there again if anyone wants to join me.”

“Don't forget to buy your raffle tickets for the Puffin Parade which will be drawn on 12th September.”

“We have some marvellous prizes and would like to thank everybody who has either donated a prize for the raffle or for the app or quiz competitions, it's really appreciated.”

“Tickets are still available from St Peters Post Office, Imperial Hotel, Les Cotils, Hotel Jerbourg GSPCA, Guernsey SPCA and GSPCA Charity Shop - Smith Street.”

“Thank you to everybody who entered the Puffin Quiz, we had a huge amount of responses and some beautifully decorated envelopes.”

“Unfortunately not everybody got all the answers correct, but for those who did you will be entered into the drawn which will be drawn at the auction on 12th September.”

“We did accept a couple of additional answers to some of the locations such as Co-op instead of Savills etc.”
